New friends

We had arrived only a couple of hours in Sapa and already, some young Hill Tribe girls ~ Black Hmong ~ are trying to sell us hand made bracelets, pillow slips and hats...
These girls spoke the most impressive english, some french and even some spanish! And it's all self taught because they don't go to school...
The Older women don't speak much english but their favorite words are: "madame" and "jolie jolie!" For everything that they pulled-put of their wicker baskets they would claim that it's "joli-joli!". At least being called 'madame' is a lot more civilized than at the market in Shanghai or Beijing and being told 'hey lady, louka louka"!
