Nothing Shocking Anymore

I’ve definitely been here too long.
I passed my one-year anniversary a few weeks ago...
My shock level is out of balance. We were grocery shopping last night in a new store. Rox calls over to me: ”look over there!” a mother was assisting her young daughter pee in the middle of the alley. The girl must have been maybe 3 yrs old. She left a large yellow puddle next to the bin of plastic glasses on sale. I failed to see what the excitement was about but Rox was absolutely stunned. And as far as I could tell, the others weren’t too bothered by this scene either. ~ Just more signs that I’m blending in.

We have taken-up biking and were out shopping for some padded sorts during a weekend escapade in Beijing. In a city with over 10 million bikes, you’d think that you’d be able to find some proper cycling clothing. We’ll that’s not the case. I was even lucky to find a helmet...
